Mr. Abdulsalam is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons) degree from University of Ilorin. He attended the Lagos Campus of the Nigerian Law School between 2008 and 2009 and was called to the Nigerian Bar as an Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2009.

Upon his call to the Nigerian Bar, he had a brief stint with Tafa Ahmed & Co. in Ilorin, Kwara State between December 2009 and January 2010. He joined the Chambers of Alade Agbabiaka (SAN) & Co., Ikoyi, Lagos in February 2010 where he became the Head of Chambers until April 2016. He joined Oladipo Awe & Co. where he also served as the Head of Chambers until January 2022. He thereafter joined ASCO LP in February 2022. At ASCO LP, he started as a Senior Associate before he was elevated to the position of Head Practice Head in October 2022, which he holds till date.

Mr. Abdulsalam specializes in the areas of Arbitration, Corporate Law, Constitutional Law, Aviation Law, Property Law, Tax Law, Registration of Ships and Vessels, Registration of Ship Mortgage and all other related transactions as regards Maritime practice as well as General Litigation. He has flair for Advocacy and he is also responsible for providing routine advice and assistance to our private and public clients.
